Delft, the Netherlands - December 11, 2025, Villari is pleased to announce that MME Group has joined the Villari Certified Partner Program, expanding access to continuous crack-detection and fatigue-monitoring technology for customers across maritime, offshore, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
For more than 60 years, MME Group has supported asset owners in safeguarding the integrity, safety, and long-term operability of complex steel structures, ranging from bridges and cranes to offshore platforms and marine assets. With extensive knowledge and expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (conventional and advanced), Rope Access, Material Testing, and Corrosion Prevention, MME helps organizations reduce risk, protect people and the environment, and ensure “A Longer Life” for their assets and those involved with them.
Through this partnership, MME will now offer Villari’s certified wireless Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) solution to its customers, providing continuous insight into fatigue behavior and early crack growth including hard-to-reach or safety-critical locations.
In addition, MME Group provides valuable insights into the retained monitoring data. Together with specialized partners, they deliver Fitness For Service (FFS) analyses, determining whether your installation can continue to operate safely and reliably, and what measures are necessary to minimize risk. These assessments help asset owners make informed decisions about remaining life and safety.
Villari’s sensors complement MME’s existing inspection and integrity services by delivering:
• Real-time visibility into fatigue and crack development
• Earlier detection of fatigue than periodic inspections alone
• Higher inspection accuracy through continuous measurement
• Safer, more predictable maintenance planning
• Reduced downtime and extended asset lifetime
“By adding Villari’s real-time monitoring to our integrity services, we help customers make earlier, safer, and more informed decisions about their steel structures. It strengthens our mission to deliver ‘A Longer Life’ for critical assets our society depends on.” says Kees Verdoorn, General Manager at MME Group.
From Villari’s perspective, MME's long-standing expertise in Non-Intrusive Inspection and ensuring structural integrity makes them an ideal partner.
“MME is widely trusted for its commitment to safety and quality.” - says Olivier Baas, CEO at Villari - “Combining their NDT and material expertise with Villari’s continuous monitoring gives asset owners a more complete picture, not just where fatigue exists, but how it evolves over time. That enables smarter repairs, fewer disruptions, and safer operations.”
As a Villari Certified Partner, MME will receive full technical and commercial support, ensuring clients benefit from seamless deployment, interpretation of monitoring data, and integration with broader inspection and maintenance strategies.
